Our Digital User Experience Manager Julie Blitzer spoke at SXSW 2018. Julie lead a panel discussion on cross-cultural, multilingual, and localized design. Today’s devices, interfaces, screens, and apps are no longer local. The panel introduced empirical research and field experiences on how people from different cultures, languages, and places may interact with digital products and services differently through real-world examples of successes and failures. The panelists also offered design heuristics for how to approach interactive projects considering globalization, multilingualism, and cultural sensitivity. Below are a few photos from the event.
