Federico Casotto was invited to Tel Aviv for the Holon Design Week 2015 to speak at the conference Food for Thought, which took place in the Holon Museum auditorium on March the 25th, 2015. During his speech he shared his thoughts on food design, based on a famous statement by Bruno Munari about an orange: “An orange is a perfect object, in which the absolute coherence of form, use, consumption is found”. Then he presented the Orecchiette di Mozzarella case study, which aroused the audience’s curiosity as an example of a mass-market food product developed through a design process.
