Designing a connected ecosystem for tomorrow
The Pepsi Spire is a state-of-the-art touchscreen fountain dispenser that allows customers to easily mix a unique drink with a touch of a button through an engaging, user-centered design. The technology is unique in leveraging existing infrastructure to provide additional product options, like mixology, to consumers. With every pour, the connected ecosystem observes the brands and flavors people love, empowering retailers to optimize their offerings based on actual data.

For over 100 years, Sella & Mosca has been a bastion of Sardinia’s wine culture with an iconic and internationally renowned portfolio. With a time-tested, prestigious product, the label needed a new brand strategy and packaging to match, upholding and promoting an extensive heritage. Modernizing the design language and organizing the product hierarchy, we matched the winery’s gamut of offerings to individualized target markets, bringing out the best of the Italian brand’s portfolio.

Re-energizing the packaging of the APAC market leader
Pepsico’s APAC market leading energy drink Sting had been using the same standard bottle since it’s launch. Design Group Italia was asked to develop a new disruptive design that could be owned exclusively by the brand, reflecting its core values and standing out from competitors. The resulting design is bold and authentic, with the structural packaging inspired by the lighting, the hero of the brand identity. It represents the energy inside the bottle that is being released direct to the consumer.
Sustainable package design with a fresh look
For Scotch-Brite, a 3M brand dedicated to cleaning products, we designed packaging for the latest sustainable range of cloths with natural bamboo and cotton fibres.
Crafting a fresh feel for a new spin on cleaning
Together with Domestos, we created a fresh new packaging design to encompass an entire line of cleaning products for the bathroom, while also upholding the brand's visual identity.
Designing an Italian everyday design icon
An icon of everyday design lauded for its form and function by the likes of Alessandro Mendini and included in the prestigious Phaidon Design Classics collection, the Tratto pen is a felt pen applying previously known technology to a simple writing tool. In 1975, FILA came to us with the request to design a new and economic pen with a signature look and feel. Our innovative proposal went on to win the Compasso d’Oro in 1979 and is still in production today, defending its status as a time-tested Italian design icon.
